Every day is run at a relaxed pace with a private vehicle and guide — tap a day to expand it.
You’ll be received at Delhi International Airport with a traditional ‘Swagat’ by a representative of Colorful India Tours holding a placard with your name, taken to your hotel for check-in and spend a restful evening in a pre-booked hotel after the long journey.
After breakfast, take an excursion around India’s pulsating capital visiting some of the sites in Old Delhi: Jama Masjid is the biggest mosque in India. Then, do a stroll down the busiest and most vibrant Chandni Chowk market. Drive past Rajghat, Mahatma Gandhi memorial site; also view India Gate, as well as the Presidents House. Marvel at the architecture of Humayun’s Tomb, an excellent example of Mughal craftsmanship.
After lunch, proceed to Agra, the destination of heritage marvels and enjoy your free time in your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Make a very early start of the day to capture the sunrise over the excellent Taj Mahal and make this wonder never-to-be-forgotten. Then return to your hotel for breakfast after check out. Your next destination is Agra Fort, a magnificent structure on the Yamuna River.
The journey from here continues on to Jaipur, the colorful capital of Rajasthan, but on the way, a spectacular interlude awaits in the form of Chand Baori Stepwell in Abhaneri. Lunch at Abhaneri. Continue on to Jaipur by the evening. Check-in at hotel and relax. Overnight stay at hotel.
Begin with breakfast. Move around to visit the fabulous Hawa Mahal, Palace of Winds. Visit Jantar Mantar, the UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can get beautiful photography under the light at Jal Mahal, the Water Palace, where you will find a palace towards the center of Man Sagar Lake. After lunch, go for the phenomenal Amber Fort at Aravalli Hills and then an elephant ride at the fort.
Return to the hotel in the evening and relish a traditional Rajasthani dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Drive back to Delhi after breakfast and reach Delhi in about 5 hours. Check into your hotel and enjoy free time to unwind yourselves.
Post breakfast, take an excursion to Shimla. This is another city where Tibetan presence is quite strong, and it is quite famous for the combination of spirituality and picturesque hill stations. Arrive in the evening and check into hotel. Relaxing leisure time after check-in. Overnight at the Hotel.
Start your day by visiting the Mall Road, heart of Shimla, where you can find local handicrafts, shawls, and jewelries for sale. Visit the Ridge and Jakhoo Temple, a popular spot for the huge Hanuman statue. End your day with visiting Kufri, 13 kilometers from Shimla, a quiet hill station, where, amidst peace and nature, and finally return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, you would be taken to the scenic valleys of Manali. On reaching Manali lunch would be served followed by a visit to the Hidimba Devi Temple and Solang Valley which is also popularly known as Snow Point. This valley offers wonderful views of glaciers and snow-clad mountains for adventure sports like skiing and paragliding. Overnight stay at the hotel.
The entire day is reserved for the visit to Rohtang Pass, gateway to the dreamy landscapes of Spiti and Lahaul, a very popular tourist destination in Manali. Activities here include river rafting and trekking. In the evening, return to the hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel.
After breakfast, depart from Chandigarh. Chandigarh is a city rich in Punjabi culture and robust traditions. In the evening, arrive in Chandigarh and spend time by strolling in the local markets and savoring the yummy food of Punjab. Stay overnight in the hotel.
The rest of the morning is free to visit Chandigarh’s main highlights; these include the Rock Garden, the Rose Garden, and Sukhna Lake – the complete charm of nature and urbanization of this city will surely attract you. Overnight in the hotel.
