After a hearty breakfast on day 3, we resume our Delhi excursion and visit the fascinating Lotus Temple. Next on the schedule is Rajghat, Mahatma Gandhi’s cremated memorial followed by a drive past the President’s house, the Indian president’s official residence. Upon checking into the pre-booked hotel in Agra, we have dinner and rest for the day. Overnight at hotel.
The Taj Mahal truly justifies its title of Seven Wonders of the World when it dazzles in the first rays of sunlight. We catch the sunrise at the Taj Mahal and a photo shoot session immortalizes the memories in our hearts forever. We now return to our hotel where we have breakfast and our exploration of the city of romance continues. The majestic Agra Fort on the banks of the River Yamuna is the next attraction we visit. By evening, we’ll return to the hotel for dinner and rest. Overnight at hotel.
