Every day is run at a relaxed pace with a private vehicle and guide — tap a day to expand it.
When you arrive at Delhi International Airport, you will be received with the placard outside the arrival hall. After a traditional ‘Swagat’ (welcome) by our representative, you will be escorted to the luxurious “The Oberoi Hotel” for check-in. Spend leisurely hours at the pre-booked hotel following the long and tiresome journey.
After breakfast, the exploration of Delhi begins. We start with the Red Fort, a historic building that used to be the main residence of erstwhile Mughal Emperors. We also visit the Jama Masjid, which is India’s largest mosque, besides the India Gate war memorial and the tallest minaret, Qutub Minar.
The attractions we visit after lunch include the fascinating Lotus Temple, Chandni Chowk, India’s busiest market, and the magnificent Humayun’s Tomb. A visit to RajGhat, where Mahatma Gandhi, father of the nation was cremated is scheduled. We also drive past the official residence of the president of India. By late evening, we get back to the hotel for dinner. Overnight at hotel.
After a Delhi special breakfast, we head to Agra, the city of love and romance. We get to Agra by noon, check into the pre-booked Oberoi Amarvilas hotel, and have lunch. Next, after freshening up, we get set for the exploration of the majestic Agra Fort which will be quite an experience. We return to the hotel during the evening to enjoy dinner and retire for the day. Overnight at hotel.
At sunrise, the Taj Mahal shines like a pearl in the backdrop of River Yamuna and is a sight out of this world. One feels that the monument is indeed one of the eight wonders of the world. We drive down to the Taj Mahal to witness the sunrise, and a photoshoot is also scheduled. Then, we return to the hotel, have breakfast, check out, and head straight for the Pink City, Jaipur; the true spectacle of the rich traditions of Rajasthan. A halt around 95 km away from Jaipur is scheduled so we can enjoy lunch and also visit Chand Baori Stepwell in Abhineri village. We reach Jaipur in the evening and check into the Oberoi Raj Vilas hotel. After dinner, we can retire for the day. Overnight at hotel.
After a hearty breakfast, our day is reserved for Jaipur sightseeing wherein we visit regal palaces and forts. Amber Fort is the first on schedule, a fortress on a hillock where we enjoy some elephant rides. Next on the list is a photo shoot at the Jal Mahal.
After lunch, we move on to witness the epitome of Mughal architecture at Hawa Mahal, the wind palace. A visit to the beautifully made observatory, Jantar Mantar is also scheduled where we witness large sundials. We return to our hotels in the late evening. After dinner, we gear up for the journey the following day by getting some rest. Overnight at hotel.
After relishing breakfast that involves truly Rajasthani cuisines, we head to Delhi airport on a journey that takes around 5 hours. You can board a flight to your home destination from Delhi airport with memories from the Golden Triangle Tour which last a lifetime.
