Yes — the Taj Mahal is closed to tourists every Friday for weekly prayers at the mosque within the complex. It is open every other day from approximately 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM. All our tours automatically avoid Fridays.
Yes — one of India's most popular day trips. The drive is about 3 hours each way. Our Same Day Delhi Agra Tour departs around 6:30 AM and returns by 9–10 PM. For a more relaxed pace with sunrise and sunset at the Taj, an overnight trip is recommended.
Two main options: private car (~3 hrs via Yamuna Expressway, door to door, included in all our packages) or the Gatimaan Express train (1 hr 40 min, India's fastest train). We do not recommend flying — no good direct connections.
